Beyond The Veil

Scripture: Hebrews 10:19โ€“22

Song: I enter the Holy of Holies

The veil has been torn, but many still live as if God is far away.

In those days, the priest entered the Holiest place with utmost seriousness and cautiousness; the presence of God was not approached nonchalantly. The high priest entered trembling, aware that flesh could not stand carelessly before a holy God. Beyond the veil was glory, fire, awe, and the overwhelming reality of God Himself and a place where men encountered Him.

Then Jesus came and tore the veil, removed the barrier, and gave men access to God. What men once feared to approach has now been opened through His blood. Yet many believers still live far away from the very presence generations longed for.

People rush into every other thing but struggle to stay before God. They can spend hours on distractions, but minutes in His presence feel long. They know many things about life but barely know Him. Meanwhile, the greatest gift given to man was not money, position, or success. It was access to God.

A man who truly enters His presence does not remain the same. In His presence, burdens are lifted, strength is renewed, and He enlightens and gives direction. The voice of God becomes stronger than the voice of fear, culture, pressure, and temptation. A man who stays before God carries something this world cannot produce: discernment, purity, conviction, and stability.

There are battles some people fall into simply because they do not know how to remain near God. The enemy is comfortable with believers who stay distracted, shallow, and spiritually empty because a believer without depth becomes easy prey.

The veil is torn now; invitation is given to all. God is still calling men closer, not to religious routine but to the secret place, not as duty but as survival.

So, the question is no longer, โ€œIs the way open?โ€ The question is, who will enter?

Who will leave the noise and come near? Who will stop living around holy things and begin to know the Holy One? Who will value access enough to use it? Who will stay before God until the heart becomes tender, the eyes become clear, and the soul begins to hunger again?

Do not remain outside when the veil has been torn. Come in, reside there, know Him, and let His presence change you from within.

Prayer:
Lord, pull me out of shallow living and spur a deep hunger for Your presence in me. Help me to stay connected to the very presence that gives life, strength, and preservation. Amen.
