Scripture: Numbers 23:19, 2 Timothy 2:13
Song: Great Is Thy Faithfulness
A shallow gratitude thanks God when life feels good, a deeper gratitude thanks God because His nature is stable. People change. Feelings change. Seasons change. But God’s faithfulness is not a reaction to your performance or events, it is an expression of His character.
There were days this year when your faith was strong, and days when your faith was tired. Yet God remained God. Sometimes divine help is not dramatic. It is God refusing to abandon you. It is God holding you when you could not hold yourself. This is why Scripture says even if we are faithless, He remains faithful. Your life is not built on your consistency alone, it is built on God’s reliability.
Meditation: Where have you been interpreting God’s love through your emotions instead of His Word?
Prayer: Father, thank You for being faithful beyond my highs and lows. Teach me to rest in who You are.
Response: Replace one fearful sentence you often say with this: “God remains faithful.”
