Raise Your Ebenezer

Scripture: 1 Samuel 7:12

Song: Ebenezer — Nathaniel Bassey

Ebenezer is not just a word or name, it is a call to remember God’s faithfulness correctly. Samuel raised a stone, not because life would never be hard again, but because he wanted Israel to carry a witness into the future: “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”

Some people enter a new year with fear because they have no memorial. They have forgotten how God helped them. They remember the pain, but not the preservation. They remember what they lacked, but not what God supplied. An Ebenezer restores perspective. It says, “God has been present,” and that becomes courage for what is ahead.

Today, we raise our Ebenezer banner to God, appreciating for how far He has brought us and for being our helper.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for helping me thus far. As I step forward, let Your help speak again.
Response: Make your Ebenezer. Write “Thus far the Lord has helped me” and list your proofs. Read them aloud as worship.
